The Uffizi bunk bed offers a straight forward solution to making the most of your children's room. More importantly, it provides a resting place your children will love to call their won. Designed by the artisan duo Jenny Argie and Andrew Thornton, the Uffizi can be considered as an architectural work given the interesting spaces it provides. Kids will love the cantilevers, semi-enclosed lower bunk, and window-like openings.

Available with ebony and white bed support finishes and bed frames in birch and white
Constructed from sustainable hard wood and birch plywood
Lower bunk is low to the ground for easier access to youngsters
Both upper and lower bunks accept a standard twin size mattress (38" x 75")
Mattress thickness for uppder bunk should not exceed 8" H
Bunk bed can convert to a loft bed with youth desk underneath
Lower bunk is repositionable
All materials, glues, stains, and finishes are low-vac and 100% non-toxic
Exceeds all CPSC and ASTM safety standards
CPSC recommends that the upper bunk should be used by children age 6+

Truck Freight Additional Information:

This product is too heavy/large to ship via the small package delivery services (e.g. UPS, FedEx) so it will be sent to you via truck freight. Truck freight is different than standard UPS, FedEx or US Mail in that you will be responsible for carrying the product from the back of the truck into your house (or wherever it's going).

The most important thing to remember about truck freight is that you MUST inspect the package at the time of delivery. If the box has any damage, or if there is any reason for you to be at all concerned about damage, please write "PRODUCT DAMAGED" clearly on the sheet that they ask you to sign. This simply insures that if there is any damage, it will be easy to take care of the problem.

If you are ordering a very large item, please keep in mind that you may need a couple of people to help unload it. Alternatively, most truck freight companies offer additional services to help you move items from the truck into your house. Once we email you the tracking information you can contact the shipper directly to inquire about additional services. You would be responsible for directly paying the truck freight carrier for any additional services.

I am very pleased with the quality of this product--really solid, nicely constructed. I bought my son the Walnut frame, with the birch bed pieces. finish is very good, but not perfect (it really depends how nit-picky you are, but there are some very minor scratches and dings here and there, but not worth sending the thing back.
