Just had third baby, love my Stokke bassinet and crib. It's not just pretty to look at. As a bassinet, it fit through our doorways, so we could roll it back and forth from the baby's room to our room, depending on where we wanted her to sleep. The bassinet mattress seems thin, but is just fine for tiny babies. I (mom) assembled both the bassinet and the crib myself, and had no trouble at all. We were able to use the bassinet until 6 months, then had to convert to crib. My ONLY con is that I did not like the selection of bedding available for this oval crib, but I had bumpers, a sheet and skirt made custom to fit and they are beautiful. LOTS of compliments on this crib so far, and we'll definitely convert it to a toddler bed. I won't be getting rid of this special crib :)
