Skip Hop was founded in 2003 by Ellen and Michael Diamant, two new parents residing in New York City. Ellen, a former design executive in the fashion and publishing industries, and Michael, an internet entrepreneur, sought to create a line of products suitable for urban parents. In the same year, they created the world's first diaper bag that converted into a stroller bag. The Diamants continued to expand their collection to include a wide range of diaper bags and baby accessories.
Since its birth, Skip Hop has continued to create diaper bags and accessories that accommodate an urban lifestyle and mindset. The socially conscious company also donates a portion of its profits to the Pediatric AIDS Foundation and the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund More on Skip Hop...

Comments about Skip Hop Swipe Baby Wipes Case:
First, this is one nice-looking wipes carrier. It's also convenient as it can be looped onto a bag, carrier, stroller, etc. The access "slide" to the wipes is also very convenient as long as you know the magic trick to open it.
The red circular sliding door can only be opened by applying pressure to its leading edge. That is, the edge of the circle in the direction of opening. If you press anywhere else on the circle, it will bind against the channels in the top case and will not open. This is no problem if you get used to it (I have) but it's a nightmare for anyone who hasn't used it before or who doesn't figure out exactly how to do what I've just described.
That's actually the second biggest problem. The FIRST and most important issue is that the clamshell itself will absolutely not stay closed. This is because of the way it was designed and doesn't appear to be a one-off manufacturing problem. There just isn't enough overlap/contact area to allow both halves of the shell to clip together. The overlapping plastic tabs and indentation are scarcely half a millimeter thick. Really, I'm actually talking about hair-thin.
To solve this problem you have to put a rubber band around the clamshell, and position it off to one end so that it doesn't interfere with the sliding red door.
Great idea ruined by such a poor mechanical design. It's a shame because these problems are so extremely easy and basic to fix from a design and manufacturing perspective. This would easily be a 4.5 star item if these problems were addressed.
I'd actually return this item if it weren't a hassle to ship it back. As it stands I'm going to write to Skip Hop to see if they have anything to say about it.
