Oras - Oval Mobile

Artist Vilija Marshall has done it all, and done it everywhere. A graduate of Loyola Marymount University’s studio arts program, she has lived and worked all over the world, from San Fransisco and Arizona to Italy to Northern England. Her art encompasses a wealth of mediums; Marshall has created stop-motion animation, puppets, sculptures, and environments for zoos, aquariums, and theme parks. A mother of two, she founded Oras Designs in 2006.


For those feeling a little less “square,” the Oval Wall Mobile from Oras Designs takes a fresh, playful approach to traditional nursery decor, becoming a piece of hanging art. Inspired by designer Vilija Marshall's love of pattern, this mobile is a unique composition in geometric form. Its pieces are light as feathers, moving delicately and constantly changing to cast beautiful shadows that transform with shifting light.
